I recently started to make myself and my family to go green. I bought a very good book on green cleaning, and other organic gardening. The only thing I think I'm having trouble with is my personal beauty products. I know what is on your skin is absorbed into your body, so I want to make sure that everything I put in my body is 100% natural. Some products are misleading, however, might say natural, but not be entirely based on natural ingredients and organic. What are some brands of makeup and beauty products are all natural ingredients? Natural Mineral Makeup Perfect for summer

With natural mineral makeup is easy to create a beautiful look of summer. Mineral makeup is lightweight, absorbs oil, reflects light and provides natural sun protection. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties of sunscreen, so it is a good choice for those with sensitive, allergic or acne-prone skin.

The most common minerals used to make natural mineral makeup are mica, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and talc. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are both effective sun block, protection against UVA and UVB rays. However, Titanium dioxide works double duty, which provides anti-inflammatory benefits as well. This calming effect makes mineral makeup, ideal for those with sensitive skin, and even help with issues such as rosacea and eczema. Now for the big question ... Is it safe all the mineral makeup?

Unfortunately, no. Some mineral makeup are aggressive chemical ingredients (such as coloring or chemical preservatives) and use of mineral less than 1% in its formula. These mineral makeup not so natural can still use the terms "natural" or "all natural" on their labels. Because the term "natural" is not regulated by the FDA, is a good idea to check the label mineral makeup product before purchase. The term "organic" does not apply to minerals, as they are extracted from the earth, but minerals can be combined with other organic ingredients.

There has been some concern with talc as an ingredient. This is mainly due to the asbestos contamination that is common with cosmetic grade talc. You want to find a company that only uses pharmaceutical grade talc in their products that is free of asbestos.

Mineral makeup evens out skin tone and diminishes the appearance of imperfections while imparting a brilliant shine to the skin. And it comes in a variety of gorgeous colors, natural - it is easy to find the nuances, to suit your skin tone.

In the hot season and humid summer, natural cosmetics , such as loose or pressed powder and work in reducing shine and absorb excess oil. If you still tend toward the dry side, try applying a bit of moisturizer or balm for the skin before applying cheeks only dust and organic blush. This will keep skin hydrated and still give a refined finish.
