Today Organic food is big business and a growing segment of the food industry. Farmers are changing the way they grow their foods to take advantage of this increased demand. Unfortunately for the producers' products, which can take up to 2 full years to cleanse the land of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers have been applied for all years prior to organic farming.
