How I can make my store more green / ethical / environment?

I work at a cosmetics shop selling organic and fair trade and other things in the bathroom. We want to make the most respectful of the environment (in how it runs, not what sells). Does anyone have any idea? We have seen the obvious things, such things as the use of green energy suppliers, recycling rainwater, installing wind turbines and solar panels, that sort of thing, but I need more good, intelligent and original ideas.

Is your store in a shopping area with several stores in other densely together, not far from a lot of homes, as the traditional city center, or is in a place where people to drive just to get to your store, then drive to make purchases from other, as in most suburbs? Moving close to where people live, or near where people shop anyway, and next to a supermarket or town, would be the best you could do if you're not there now. Something unique and PR-wise could be the provide delivery of an eco-friendly vehicle. The delivery is important and in fact energy saving if given once daily combination of several trips, helps to the homebound. And whatever you do, keep in mind that the effect is multiplied, as it will influence what other traders to move the rule. Good for you.
