Finally, a set that doesn't shed all over my face!!

I've wanted to use brushes for a while but the sets I've bought in the past, from Walgreens, Ulta, Target, all shed!! I'd apply my powder and end up picking bristles off my face! So annoying and turned me away from brushes. I decided to try them again, though, after the applicators that came with my eyeshadows kept falling apart. After a little research online and a trip to Ulta, I came home with these attractive, eco-friendly essential brush set. I am so happy I decided to give brushes another try. The applicators are soft, apply the make-up evenly and DON'T SHED!! :) The brushes have a great natural feel to them on your skin, and the handles are light and short making them easy to work with. I use them for every day application. I only wish (and this goes for ALL brush manufacturers) they would put a little instruction sheet in for what/how to use each brush, and label each brushes handle with it's name. I was using each brush for what I thought they were for but found out I was using them wrong when I went to buy more to "complete" my set. The bag is a little small and some of the brushes get squished when I put them in it but I'm going to follow suggestions and just put them in a ziplock baggie or buy anther, larger bag to put them in, as I want to purchase more brushes.

These are my ABSOLUTE favorite beauty accessories. Seriously, I'll never go back to any other brand when it comes to brushes. After trying these--which are the most gentle on your face--everything else is inferior.. and they're eco-friendly too. Just perfect.

Great for the money

I purchased these about two years ago from my local drugstore and use them almost every day. I wash them at least once a month and they have lasted and are still like new. I haven't used the concealer brush because I already had one that works very well, but would use it if I didn't. For the price, these work well and travel very easily which is a plus for me. The reason I gave it four stars is because the eye shadow brush doesn't work as well as others I have had and sometimes makes blending a task, but overall, this is a good set to have.

I bought these because of them being eco-friendly. (There have been some discussions about bamboo being harvested and ruining panda environments, but this company grows their own bamboo supply.) The brushes are really soft, and put my powder make-up on like a dream. I don't use anything cream or liquid. I am sensitive to animal hair brushes, so this was a great alternative for me. Some places online sell them for up to $20, but if you can't find them cheaper, head to your local Rite Aid or Walgreens. I got mine for 10.99 from a drugstore. They would also make a great gift to a vegetarian, organic eating, or eco-consious person. They are my favorite brushes so far.

First of all, i would like to say that i received these within 3 days and i had standard shipping! When i got them i they felt sooo soft that my 2 yr old daughter was wanting to rub them all over her face! lol i used them and they were wonderful! I was able to apply my make up fast and was really smooth! They did not shed or anything when i washed them either! I would recommend these to everyone!

I don't normally use make-up or any kind of product on my skin other than an acne preventer and lip balm so i'm not sure if i quite know what i'm talking about; but this is what i did this morning. I dabbed on some liquid foundation and used the powder brush to dust on translucent mineral veil, and the eyeshaddow brush and coverup brush to blend in some light color on my eyes and i think they work great. they don't leave lines, loose bristles, or unblended areas on your face, plus, they have very decent coverage and don't hurt your skin. I love em' and i doubt i will ever use any other brand from now on. (P.S. I bought mine at my local Walgreens for $[...], and i suggest you do the same. You wont have to wait for delivery [...].) (P.S.S. I think they also sell Ecotools at Target, if you don't have a Walgreens near you.)

Not great

The material of these brushes is really fantastic, the bristles are very soft. However, these seem to be all odd sizes, not quite what I had expected. The largest brush, which I intended to use as a loose power brush, isn't as big as I would like. I feel like I'm smearing the power on, not dusting. The next brush has a really small little handle or "nub," it isn't easy to hold and the brush part is actually too large to use for blush as I had intended. The other 2 brushes, which I thought I would use for eyeshadow, are actually too large for eyeshadow - if you want any control that is. Great material, not very useful.

I've spent good money on brushes to only have to buy new ones to replace them due to shedding and them getting rough. I bought these and they were surprisingly soft to the touch. I use the foundation brush with bare minerals foundation, and the kabuki for for the mineral veil, works Great together. The eyeshadow brush is a wonderful eyeshadow brush that blends color very well. I use it for my daytime shadowing. The concealer brush works great with bare minerals bisque. I use all the brushes and for the price I would be happy to replace every few months. I've already washed the foundation brush and its just as soft as when i first purchased it. Great Quality for a Great price.

these soft, sleek, eco-friendly brushes give me excellent service and peace of mind. i can no longer blithely purchase beauty products that i know ride on the backs of cripple, maimed, and murdered animals. i will reseacrh and choose accordingly products that support my philosophy. i find eco-tool brushes to be more luxuriant and hardy than the most expensive sable brushes. the 4 brushes fufill all of my make-up application needs and you cannot beat the prices. if you are considering purchasing them, take the plunge. i do not think you will regret your choice.

I bought the Organic Wear loose powder because I was noticing too many breakouts and blackheads, so a friend suggested using this. At first I didn't like the smell (or lack of), as I'm used to the scent/perfume that's in 'regular' makeup. Organic wear has no added scent so that it's all natural. Now I don't even notice. I don't use the brush that comes with it, I prefer a softer, larger one that I have. Anyway, I've been using it for about three months and my skin has cleared considerably. The first few weeks I noticed that my face got shiny during the day, which bothered me, but turns out that it's great because this doesn't clog your pores like other powders, so I just reapply once or twice during the day if necessary. I went back to get more organic wear products, and they had discontinued this line! Looks like people prefer the scents and allure of popular brands,so they're missing out on this.

Good for those who prefer light coverage or have sensitive skin

This product is for someone who desires a more natural look. I actually prefer the Physician's Formula regular mineral makeup for heavier coverage, mainly for aesthetic reasons, but the Organic Wear is perfect for a more casual cover. I would highly recommend the Organic Wear for someone who already has virtually flawless skin, otherwise, stick to the regular mineral formula, because the Organic Wear, as already mentioned, give a very light translucent coverage; or, if you prefer, use a bit of concealer on imperfections as a spot remedy, and follow up with the Organic Wear. Organic Wear would also be perfect for those who have very sensitive skin. It is very gentle and soothing to the skin and it feels like you have nothing on when you're wearing it!

A great lipbalm with super -antioxidants

This is a very nice lipbalm, and it really is soothing, just as advertised; it has a light scent and taste that is reminiscent of roses and only slightly bitter orange that balances the sweetness. I did not know that this product contains hemp seed oil, but someone told me that hemp is actually a super-antioxidant and anti-cancer product, although most people won't tell you that. I was worried at first about the hemp, but I was told that regular ice cream has more psychotropic ingredients in it than products with hemp (who knew?). The size of the balm is wide, which is also nice, covers a lot of area with just one or two swipes.
