My lips feel ... almost plastic? Because ...?

For the last couple of days, my lips have felt very plastic-y. Today is even worse. They feel stiff and it hurts when I products in whole or ... stretch a lot. But the kicker is: I use chap stick all the time. Actually ... here lately (two or three weeks) I have become obsessed with bringing and lip gloss or chap stick all the time. Well, I'm thinking I should break to use all this for a while now, obviously. But what can I do to get rid This feeling rough, plastic in my mouth ... before? I almost want to rub lotion on them ... although that sounds really silly ... One thing I'm using Soft Lips is organic (which says it contains 50% post-industrial recycled plastic ...). Is not it supposed chapstick the condition of your mouth, not made difficult ...? Ugh.
