Is it okay to use Organic Lipgloss has been open since mid-2009?

IM asking because I looked in my bag i used to run a while ago, and I found my favorite lip gloss that is organic, and im wondering if you still can use it, because I realized that now smells of thick seed oil and passion fruit combined, but at first it smelled like passion fruit fruity It is therefore old, or the mixture of seed oil and passion fruit extract only the dominant form separate and smell each other?? and does not smell so bad, just smells different

I have old lipgloss all the time. You should be absolutely fine. Even if it did go wrong, you would have to eat a bit of a reality ill. ^ _ ^
