I have very sensitive skin and hesitated to purchase a different soap. No concerns now that I have tried it. My skin loves Olivella Face and Body Soap. Also, it produces a great lather but seems to last a very long time. I recommend this product.

very moisturizing and pleasant smell

I decided to try this brand of olive oil soap after reading the great reviews and I'm glad I did. I was using Kiss-my-face olive oil soap before and its great but I didn't really like the smell. This soap works the same as Kiss-my-face but has a better smell.

Dry itchy skin?

For the past several years my skin had become dry and itchy. I tried many different kinds and types of soaps and lotions until a friend of mine referred me to this soap. Just after one use I felt my skin improve and after my first bar my dry and itchy skin was pretty much just a memory. This was a welcome relief. I highly recommend Olivella Face and Body Soap.

I really enjoy this product. Especially if you have dry skin. I gave a few away and the only complaint i got back was it didn't lather. Well, i figure it didn't lather up becuase it didn't have all those harsh chemicals in it, so that didn't bother me at all. I think it is a great product and i put a bar in each bathroom for the wonderful smell. I certainly would recommend this product to anyone.

I am a physical therapist and use this soap at work. I love the spearmint lime scent because it is energizing and uplifting. I love the soap because it does not dry out my skin despite frequent hand washing. I only wish that it came in larger sizes.

Antibacterial soap without Triclosan!

Ever since the Environmental Working Group mentioned the harmful effects of Triclosan in anti-bacterial products, I've been looking for a foaming anti-bacterial hand soap without it. I was happy to find this natural product which does not contain Triclosan. According to the label, it kills 99.9% of germs including MRSA, Salmonella, Staph, and E. coli. I only use it in the kitchen. I find it helpful to use after handling raw food while cooking. Noticeably Softer Skin in One Week

Recently I've been showering first thing every single morning without fail because of a recent back injury. (The hot water helps.) As long as I'm in there, of course I wash. Last night I noticed that my skin had gotten noticeably softer. And I haven't been using any lotion! It is just this soap!I highly recommend it. It is vegan. (You don't even want to know what's in the regular stuff.) It does take a time or two to get used to the smell. It lathers sufficiently for all purposes, including leg shaving, although not quite as much as the regular stuff. And if it can soften my 48-year-old skin, it can be good for anybody!

My dermatitis acted up again earlier this month, and while I've used Cetaphil and Aquaphor and Dr. Bronner's, I was so insane with itch that a friend recommended I find an olive oil soap (without coconut oils, as I've been using "natural" hair products with a lot of coconut oil and derivatives and it was possible I'd developed a sensitivity). In searching, I happened upon this brand and decided to order and try it.It's really gentle and leaves my skin soft, smooth, and non-itchy (the last being hugely important to me). It does have a strongish olive oil scent, but not a perfumey one. Makes sense it smells like OO, no? Some find this offputting, but it doesn't linger. You smell it while showering, but not after. I'd also add that this lathers discreetly, but adequately and nicely. It's not sudsfest, but enough to know you are getting some surfactant action going and getting off the dirt and grime (if you're grimy, hah).My rash is gone and I'm now ordering more of this. I don't use it on my face, which is the most sensitive part of my body. I still use the Cetaphil on that (and the Kinerase Gentle Cleanser when I have makeup to take off). But for the neck down, this has been great.It does have a slippery feel, but not slimy as another commenter posted. At least in my opinion. I had ordered my original bars from iHerb on sale, but this is a competitive price for the 12-pack, so I'm ordering this one. Hope they don't mess up and send me the scented. I can't use that one.Update: Well, I found a saponified OO soap bar I like as well, if not better. It's a Greek OO one and it REALLY is unfragranced (ie, Olivella has a stronge OO smell to it, very vegetal one might say). It's called Aptera Olive Oil Soap - 4.3 oz and I give it a slightly higher thumbs up than Olivella for being really fragrance free and even LESS sudsing action--which prolly means gentler. Ordered a dozen this AM from Mother Nature, which also sells it through amazon for those who hate the OO smell of Olivella and those who want a slightly less slimy/slippery sensation. Olivella is more "oil" feeling than Aptera. I will probably use both, as I like both and think for the allergy-prone, rotating products is a good idea, anyway. Two great products that are good for your sensitive skin. Yay.Enjoy and have happy skin!

Olive Oil Soap is Perfect

This soap is all natural, and the fragrance , though off-putting for some, is just a vegetal odor that dissipates as you use the bar. It does not lather a great amount because it does not contain detergents. It does not make the skin feel dry, it makes it feel like skin, without the slickness of detergents or other additives. After a bath with this soap, you can appreciate the soft feel of your skin. I won't use anything else. The bars last a long time.

I sincerely appreciate being able to purchase this soap at Amazon. I love it and it is very good for my skin. I am a breast cancer patient and this soap has been particularly helpful throughout my chemo treatments. Olivella is not harsh on the skin and it is naturally moisturizing. It is very difficult to find, so this made it very easy for me to purchase. The product arrived very quickly and in great condition. Thank-you!

This smells great and my daughter is finally enthusiastic about washing her hands. It foams well and rinses off well. The only things I would change- 1) the bottles leaked a bit during shipping, 2) I couldn't find a refill liquid in bulk on Amazon (I don't want to keep buying the small plastic bottles over and over).

Smells really good!

The thing I like best about this soap is the smell. The orange vanilla smell is just great! After washing my hands I keep sniffing them because the smell is just so good!I also like foaming soap. I think you use less and save more because there's less soap/more volume with each squirt.Did I mention that I liked the smell? I had to go and get an orange cream soda after washing my hands. Glug, glug, glug.

BEST hand wipes

I love, love, love these wipes. As an eco-conscious, health-conscious mom I was looking for some hand wipes that were not toxic for the earth or my son and found the cleanwell company and these wipes. I bought them for my toddler son, but use them for everything. Products containing alcohol or other typical sanitizing agents are just not safe (especially for kids who put their hands in their mouths all the time). Plus, you will notice, as I did, that these don't seem to leave any creepy residue on your hands like other hand sanitizers. At first, since the wipes were pricey I just used them for my son. Then one day at the zoo (where you REALLY need to use hand sanitizer) I used a typical hand gel and started eating my lunch-- which tasted like the sanitizer! Yuck! I used one of these wipes and Voila! clean hands with no creepy aftertaste. I have gotten rid of all of my other toxic hand sanitizers. I keep a pocket pack of wipes and a cleanwell spray in the diaper bag at all times. I use the wipes because sometimes the spray doesn't seem like enough for a toddler's dirty hands (spray rubbed on dirt makes clean dirt? I prefer to wipe off the dirt). I usually use the spray for myself. I use the wipes to wipe down surfaces as well (like stroller trays, grocery carts, restaurant high chairs, etc.). The active ingredient, ingenium, is also a surface disinfectant (and cleanwell is coming out with surface cleaners soon) so I know it's safe and works. All the cleanwell products smell great-- fresh and herby not perfumey. I can't say enough good things about these!
