Skin firming?!?! Not so much! Softness....yes!

I have been using this for several years. As far as skin firming well I don't see much result but my skin is sooo soft when using this. The smell at first is a bit strong but not unpleasant..just wait until it has all soaked in then apply whatever body spray/perfume you plan on using. I don't use on my face, use a different nivea product for that. I am 35 years old, have used tanning beds(you would think I would have leathery skin...nope) and have the softest skin..all thanks to Nivea products!!

While it was a great moisturizer, I also found the smell to be a bit overwhelming. Not completely horrible, but a little too strong for my liking. I would have overlooked this, but after just 3 days of using this lotion, I started developing bumps all over my legs that were very itchy. Stopped using right away!

I've been using this body cream for a couple of months now. It is as good as any I have used and isn't as greasy as some. However, I haven't seen any results from "skin firming".

Nice lotion

Good lotion; nothing particularly special about it. I gave it four stars because I felt that it firmed my skin, as well as moisturized really well (which is what most moisturizers do).Id strongly advise not to use it on your face if you have oily/combo skin. I have combo skin, and using this on my face made it really oily. I know this isnt a facial lotion, but I personally hate having to apply one lotion for my face and then one for my body.As for the smell? I can't believe people thought there was a strong smell. It smells the same as every other Nivea product, if not even less strong. It smells like clean lotion, not at all musky, or perfumy. I'm used to cocoa butter, and as you can assume, the Nivea smells like nothing compared to cocoa butter.

Don't buy if you're sensitive to strong smells!

I bought this at a local warehouse store a few days ago; however, I used it only twice and had to return it since the smell was so strong! I can usually handle fairly strong smells, but this one was incredibly strong -- in a bad way! Usually the scent of most lotions will also dissipate after the lotion sinks in, but this one lasted for about eight hours, and interfered with my perfume.Since I only used it twice, I can't speak to its skin-tightening abilities. I really did like how light-feeling it was, and it also adds a nice glean to your skin. If you don't mind the smell, it seems like a nice lotion, but just be warned that it may be too strong! If you are at all sensitive to smells, I definitely recommend smelling this before you purchase it.I feel bad giving this a low review since I wasn't able to use it long enough to see if it really does firm the skin, but, in my mind, a product needs to excel in all areas to be a winner, and this one falls short because the smell is much too strong and noxious. I ended up buying Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion, Daily Shade Formula, SPF 16, from Amazon after returning the Nivea lotion, and have been very pleased with that one. While the Alba doesn't have the skin-firming features, it contains SPF and has as very subtle scent, so I consider it a good trade-off.

I've been using this product for 2 months now and while the fine lines around my eyes and forehead remain I do see a difference in my skin. It feels alive, refreshed and healthy! It goes on smoothly and has a wonderful scent. My skin absolutely looks more youthful. I will continue using this product.

I am very pleased with this Olay product. I have only been using it for about a month, but with In that short amount of time my skin & over all appearance Is very hydrated, firm, & smooth. I am very impressed also with the fact that my skin actually looks more even In tone & has given me a new found confidence so I feel comfortable even without foundation on. This night cream seems to give my face a healthy glow & a little goes a long way. I put this on my face & neck every night & love waking up to beautiful soft skin!! Highly recommend this product, & for the quality in my opinion the price is fantastic!!!

No complaints..works well

Works well...my skin is usually rough from the day when I put the cream on at night. Overnight, my skin heals. It's great. The only annoying part is that it doesn't really "soak" into my skin. When I shower in the morning, I feel the cream sticky on my face. No big deal though..still a good product

Rich and creamy

I love this lotion. It's very luxurious. I use it at nighttime and sometimes during the day if I won't be outside much. It's scented very gently, which is important to me as I hate perfumy smells. I'd say one jar lasts about a month or so. I have very dry skin and live in the desert, so a rich face lotion is key. This product meets my expectations for soft, not-tight skin, and the price is right. I highly recommend.

Olay Pro-X products are excellent and much less expensive than those claiming to do be much more effective and are not.I would recommend this Hydra-Firming cream to anyone who not only wants an excellent moisturizer but one that helps firm their face and neck. It can't work miracles but I do see a marketable improvement and it only takes a very short time and I will continue to use it to maintain the appearance.

I wish it came in large vats and costed less -- I would use it all over my body instead of just my face and neck. It's so light, yet so moisturizing. I get tons of compliments on my skin -- I highly recommend it.

seems to improve skin

I'm a skeptical person by nature, so I write this with some qualifiers. This is my second jar of the Olay Hydra Firming Cream. It seems improve the tone and texture of my skin, but I'm not sure it warrants the price. In any case, I plan to use the produce for six months or so before coming to a final conclusion.

When I opened the jar I noticed a large air pocket in the middle of the jar. After stirring the contents to eliminate the air pocket, the jar was only 2/3 full. Also, the product itself doesn't seem to do anything more than any other moisturizer.

I'm very pale and accidently bought the medium to dark lotion, but I've been using it every other day for 6 days and it works well. I look much tanner already, so I think I'm going to wait a few days so I don't look orange! I recommend this product, but if you're pale like I am I highly recommend using the one for light to medium skin!

An above-average self-tanning product

I had been using Jergens self-tanner, but I wasn't happy with this product after the formulation was changed. I saw that Nivea was rated a winner in a review of self-tanners in a magazine (I believe it was Real Simple), so I decided to give it a try. I find this lotion to be a little on the thin side, with a scent that is slightly odd, although not overly unpleasant or long-lasting. Basically, the product does what it says: it produces a nice, natural-looking, gradual tanning effect. If I'm careful with the application, I have found that the color usually doesn't streak, but of course ANY self-tanner product is at risk to streak, and this one is no exception. In addition, even though I use the "Medium to Dark Skin" shade (I have a medium skin tone due to my Italian heritage) and I tend to use this product several days in a row, I never really get a dark color; the daily use seems to help maintain the color only. Finally, I would say that the "Firming" effects of this product are non-existent. Simply as a natural-looking self-tanner, however, it does at nice job, and I would recommend it.

Horrible smell

I signed up for the Nivea lotion on subscribe and save. I love the program but they didn't offer the Jergens lotion that I liked so I thought I would go ahead and try the Nivea. It has the worst smell and I ended up throwing both the lotions away. I can order the Jergens outside of the program.

I've been using this nivea product for a bout a year now and I just love it! It doesn't leave any orange streaks or smells funny like many other sunless products. I highly recommend it.

One thing I didn't like about other sun kissed products was the smell that lingered on the skin after a couple of hours, not this product. This has a refreshing scent that lasts and your skin feels toned, moist but not greasy at all. Great product!
