Most of my life I have had problems with the skin on my face being ruddy and red. Once I began using this product, all my facial skin problems disappeared. Well worth it.

Not for acne prone skin

I liked it at first. But, after using it for a couple days, it causes me to breakout. I suspect it's the coconut cream base that's clogging my pores.

Excellent cleanser for dry skin!

This is an absolutely fabulous cleanser for dry skin. I like to let my cleanser concentrate on removing dirt and impurities, not just removing makeup, so I use unscented baby wipes to remove my makeup or Aubrey's herbal makeup remover first. This cleansing cream is very gentle to my skin and leaves it soft and smooth. It has a slight scent (not commerical fragrance) that I noticed for the first couple of days but afterwards I got used to it. It comes in a plastic squeeze bottle which helps you control how much you use so you have no wasted product. I truly love this product and it has saved my dry, dehydrated skin. I also use the coordinating Seaware toner, rosehip moisturizing cream, and Lumessence eye cream. After two weeks, the transformation of my skin is amazing. The rosehip moisturizing cream contains rosehip oil which is an excellent anti-aging product that is superior to the Dremu (emu) oil. This set has almost completely erased all of my dehydration/fine lines. At 28, this is a complete blessing that I will use for a lifetime.

really great, gentle all-natural cleanser

Though I'm not sure this would be great at removing makeup, it's a really lovely cleanser to use in the morning ... leaves skin extremely soft and smooth.

I have been doing some research in the the causes of adult acne and read that sea buckthorn is a great non-drying treatment. I have to say that I totally agree. 10 days into treatment and my skin has not looked this good in 10 years. Thanks Aubrey!

Excellent face cleanser

I find this to be an outstanding cleanser. I use the one formulated for dry/combination skin and it leaves my skin soft and supple. I rinse it out with warm water, so there never is any residue left, and, anyway I always use a toner afterwards, which takes care of any possible "leftovers".

first time i loved it, second time i ordered it it had some kind of sand or grit in it and it was a bother to use it, so i just stopped. will probably not buy again. trying to go without moisturizer and so far its ok. i try not to wash my face with soap. we'll see what happens in the winter.

My skin is really sensitive - my pores clog & I break out easily, and it's perfectly happy to turn into an oil slick or start flaking off if I dare to use the wrong product just once. Aubrey Organics - Vegecol With Aloe Moisturizing Cream hydrates without clogging my pores or making me a greasy mess. It has a nice, faint natural scent to it. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in a gallon size. It seems I'm buying it every other month, because I use it on my neck & decollete as well as my face. I've tried a lot of expensive products off the shelves & from spas, and this is just as good as the most expensive I've tried ($30 or so for 2-3 ounces), and far superior to most of what you'll find out there.

a little light for my taste

I have very sensitive skin, but it's also very dry, even in the middle of summer. This moisturizer is a little too light for my taste, but I still gave it 5 stars because you can put on many layers--and it felt wonderful. Not a trace of red on my face--I think it actually soothed and improved my skin. I still have to add a little oil on my most problematic areas (so that I don't feel dry), and it is summer. I think that this will be too light for me in the winter.

Great for all skin types

To be honest, some organic products smell kind of funky even if they are supposed to be better for you. This moisturizer has a very mild, pleasant odor and it is so soothing for all types of skin. It doesn't cause break-outs because it isn't oily. It has no parabens or other questionable chemicals or preservatives. It's good for older, sensitive skin, as well as teenage breakout-prone, sensitive skin. I tried a lot of different kinds of moisturizers--organic, expensive, dept. store, grocery store--but this one is the best. My teenage daughter keeps stealing mine because it works so well on her face, too.

I am of English/Germanic/Welsh descent with medium-toned skin. Since I am outside all day every day, my skin is dry from the sun but oily from sweat. I also have sensitive skin, and I'm enough of a hippie that I check what is in my soaps/shampoos/detergents. I discovered Aubrey Organics about nine months ago. I like that they tell you in plain English what their ingredients are, and they don't use silicone derivatives or petrochemical by-products.I did a lot of research before trying the moisturizer, comparing it to other "natural" products. amazing day facial cream

I like to switch up my facial creams, and this is definitely one of my fave's! It actually feels like it is in between a cream and a lotion. The "peach" tint someone else complained about looks more like a very light tan on me. I really like that part of it. But the best thing is that it is all natural and feels great on my face. It soaks in pretty quick, and I just lightly massage it in to evenly distribute the "color", if you will. Don't forget to shake the bottle each time since the cream can separate. After all, it is natural. Great price for such a high quality face cream. I also like the Aubrey Green Tea & Ginkgo with SPF 15, for the days I go outside a little.

I'll try to make this review as simple and straightforward as this gem's all-natural ingredient list: This is the best moisturizing/repairing cream on the market. Period. It has everything you'd want on your skin (safe, nourishing, plant extracts), and nothing you don't (dimethicone, polysorbateblahblahblah, etc.). I cannot recommend it highly enough!

This product is OK. It goes on a bit heavy and the cucumber scent is on the strong side. It leaves a peach-colored residue on the face if you don't rub it in thoroughly.

The Best Ever

I've been using this lotion for at least 15 years. I found it by accident when it was recommended to me at a health food store in LA after I had been in the sun for 10 days in July at the Colorado River. One day there it was 134 degrees. I've been going to the deserts around So Cal all my life and this stuff works. I now have my wife and my two daughters using it. Moreover, it seems for me at least to have healing qualities. Many times I've applied it to rashes, irritated skin, mild burns and so forth and it's relieved pain and improved the sore area. Just today I went on a three hour beach hike that included swimming, going through beach caves to get through a cliff face, tide pools, and so forth. I had to carry my kids through several areas. At some point I got sand in my swim trucks and before AI knew it I had a great rash going. Got home, applied some of this magical goo and while the areas are still red I can walk without irritation. Not sure it works for everyone but for me it's one of the best things I've ever found in my life. Expensive but worth it. I'd say the harsher your environment the more performance you'll see from this product.

You know how some lotions you rub on and it seems like it's helping while it's on but then once it wears of your hands look and feel bad--this stuff is the opposite of that. You put this on and your hands look and feel better, then later when it soaks in your hands look a little better than before you used it. Keep using it and you see improvement because it is healing your skin, improving it! Not just coating it and filling in the cracks.I like to water it down with spring water to about half concentration as I find it too thick. Goies further and works better for me. I use it all over but mainly my hands, face, arms, and feet.Mild scent.Try it!

Wonderful moisturizer!!!

I absolutely LOVE this moisturizer. I`m in my mid 30`s and people think I am 22 because of my skin. This is so gentle, light, soft, it is wonderful! I use it for a few days and skip a day and use it again. You only need a little bit, so the price is very good too! I do not like rose smell in cosmetics, but this has a super light fragrance that goes away really fast, so it doesn`t bother me at all. My fair skin tone is beautifully evened out, thanks to this cream.

Excellent Moisturizer and Seller

I did not want to run out of this moisturizer so I was glad that it arrived so fast. This rose hip moisturizer feels great and it has only healthy ingredients. You do not need to use a lot. Combination Skin

I have combination skin and it is very sensitive to facial products. I love this cream, it's thick and keeps my skin moisturized. It doesn't make me break out, which a lot of products do and has improved my skin tone. I switched to this moisturizer because I was trying to cut back on skin care costs. If you hate this product and have some money to spare, you should try Eminence 8 Greens Whip, I just love Eminence products and this moisturizer in general.

Overall, this moisturizer is one of my favorites because it performs the most important job---diminishing oil! Pangea Organics is a brand that upholds their promise in using only the most natural of ingredients. Whenever I apply this moisturizer to my face, the smell is always pure and earthy without a hint of artificial scent. At first, I have to admit the smell was quite pungent, but to me, it didn't take long to get used to. Sometimes, it can provide such a zen feeling; it really is quite relaxing during the first few minutes you have it on!Besides preventing excess oil from being released, this moisturizer is also effective as an astringent. I have a hint of redness on my face and the color does subside when I apply it. You can also feel your pore constricting in the beginning, and after awhile, the skin feels and looks natural.I understand the price seems absurd for a 60 ml bottle of cream, but I didn't regret spending my money after using it. Each droplet of cream is packed with so much earthy goodness that you don't need to go further than two pumps to fully cover your face.
