Are the textures of cocoa butter and shea butter the same?

I'm making a homemade hand lotion and it calls for a solid oil. It uses cocoa butter as an example but i also need shea butter for another recipe so I'm just wondering whether i could use shea butter for both. On some websites it says that shea butter is soft/solid at room temperature and cocoa butter is solid. Is there a huge difference between them?

Also whichever one i buy I'm going to be buying the organic unrefined type and i know that cocoa butter has a slight chocolate scent but what does shea butter smell like? The recipe also calls for beeswax and I've bought some that smells kind of like honey, would shea butter smell okay with honey?

Cocoa butter is more solid than shea butter although it seems to have less stearic acid content than shea.
Cocoa butter does not easily melt on skin contact compared to shea.
Depending on your source of shea, it could vary between no smell [refined/white] to slightly nutty/smoky [unrefined/off-white]

You could use shea for both recipes but you might have to adjust the percentages.

Can anyone suggest a really good lotion?

I'm 14 years old and I need a really good organic, clean lotion to use of my very dry hands and legs. Any suggestions?
