My complexion has never been more perfect since I've been using this wonderful facial cleansing milk. The natural "orangey" fragrance and gentle ingredients refresh and revive my skin, affirming quality and effectiveness. This product naturally balances my combination (sometimes oily, sometimes dry) complexion, giving my skin a "perfect world" feel. I've been using this product for more than 2 years and have found the price on Amazon to be reasonable, but not always the best when compared to sale prices in my local stores, however, the convenience offered in ordering from Amazon, can't be beat!

The Most Moisturizing Lip Balm!

Full of natural, organic ingredients and no petrolatum. My lips are very dry and when I peel them, sometimes they bleed, which my boyfriend really hates. He bought me three lip balms, after looking carefully at the ingredients, and the Canus Goat's Milk was the best! Very moisturizing, doesn't feel oily or waxy, and lasts quite a while. The mint fragrance isn't overpowering or tingly, either. I like that I can understand all of the ingredients on the list, no long chemical names.

The Best Lip Balm EVER!!!

My lips are always dry and they peel a lot... especially in the winter time. I also have sensitivity to the toothpaste, which is what, I believe, makes my lips peel all the time. I have tried many different lip balms, from Chapstick, to the natural Chapstick, Burst Bees, etc. and nothing compares to Canus Lip Balm. This balm has actually healed my lips. I haven't had soft lips in years until now!!!!!!!!!! And as a plus it's organic and all natural. You can't go wrong with it! I highly recommend it!

Received this product three weeks ago, just to try it out, and love, love, love it. I live in Arizona where, as everyone knows, it is very dry. I have tried just about every product available over the past ten years without success. Believe me Canus Goat's Milk Lip Balm works. The only problem, can't buy it in any of the stores out here and it is currently out of stock at Amazon. Highly recommend it. Also tried the Canus Body Butter and love that too.

I have found a winner - a lip balm that moisturizes, heals and protects. love the flavor. And it is natural! I figured most products out of Vermont can't be bad - this stuff impressed me as much as Ben & Jerry's ice cream did when I first had some- Chunky Monkey Please. Pardon the Pun folks, but word of mouth says tell your friends to buy their own. I bought 10 after first trying it. I was thinking this would last me, but the kids got a hold of it, as did my wife and they started giving some to their friends. I have looked for it in stores and haven't found it yet, This is the only way I know how to buy it.A bike mechanic friend of mine says the Discovery Channel Team was using this stuff in France this July (Lance?) But only a rumor and you can't believe everything written on the web

Really irritated My skin

I have normal to dry skin and have never had any cleanser irritate My skin like this cleanser did. Right after using it My entire face was bright red and stayed that way for a few hours. I thought maybe it was because it was My first time using it but the next few washings did the same. Not sure what is causing this. I have never had a reaction like this to any facial products. I emailed Avalon about it and never heard back. I also did not like how strong the lavendar smell was.

Soap-free...Really?

I recently purchased another facial cleanser and it left my face dry and flaky. My pores were magnified and I wasn't happy. I tried Avalon's shampoo and conditioner and had been impressed so I thought I'd try this cleanser. When I got it I read that it was soap free and wondered how well it would clean my face. I was Shocked after using it! Amazing stuff. I got right up close to the mirror and looked for a long time. I couldn't find any dirt in my pores and they were signifigantly smaller. My face looked and felt fresher. I have pretty sensitive skin and have NEVER been so satisfied with anything I have put on my face. I must say, the shampoo did the same for my scalp. I am becoming a BIG fan of Avalon Organics

leaves skin soft

well, i'm trying to "go organic", but am in late 40's, so need good skin care products. this cleanser did leave my skin soft. skin feels clean without feeling dry. there is no lather, which is fine. i wear a washable mascara and i have to really rub this cleanser around my eyes for a long time to get it off, but this is the only con.

Great, safe product

I first ordered this because it was the Environmental Working Groups top pick for sunscreen, but have continued to order it because it is so effective. Some previous reviews mention that kneading is required and application is more difficult than with traditional products. This is true, but is true for every natural, mineral based sunscreen. We used this product exclusively last week on our family of four on a nine day trip to Mexico and we didn't experience one burn even after several hours in the pool. If you are looking for a natural sunscreen this product is the best our family has found.

Disappointed

I have been desperatly searching for a sunscreen that is free from cancer-causing chemicals and works. Alas, this sunscreen had little to no effect in protecting my skin from the sun. Also, I did knead the tube before use. I have found all natural sunscreens to be greasy. I would say this one is one of the least greasy. However, After an hour in the sun, I was burnt and covered in freckles. I have pale skin and so far the only semi-natural sunscreen that works is Lavera's for children. It is extremely greasy and leaves your skin white, but at least you do not get sunburned. Do not buy this product for sun protection.

I saw a review of top sunscreens by a number of dermatologists and this was one of the top rated sunscreens without chemicals. It doesn't turn your skin white, it nourishes the skin with organic botanicals and is very water resistant. And, the price was right!

Great and Natural sunscreen

After doing TONS of research on a pure yet effective sunscreen that gets a top rating by the Environmental Working Group, this is the sunscreen I chose. Better yet, it works incredibly well and doesn't leave you with a sticky, unbreathable film on your skin. Rubs in very nicely, good for face and body, doesn't clog pores. Great product!

Great for a child with a sunscreen allergy

My son has a severe sunscreen allergy and this is one of the only sunscreens I have been able to find that he does not react to. He is a 3 year old with very fair skin, and he does not burn at all while wearing this product.I found it to feel greasy at first, but that eventually goes away. I would recommend this to parents looking for a sunscreen for a child with sensitive skin.
