Organic vs Conventional Foods?

What is the difference between these two? I mean other than the spelling and the price. It just seems to me that the food industry labels the word "organic" and some foods and their seems to be people stupid enough to buy it. Is there really ANY difference between these two?

As far as organic meats and dairy there are big differences. organic livestock must have access to the outdoors daily, cannot be given hormones or antibiotics, are fed certified organic grains which cannot contain GMO or drugs.
