How to prevent hair loss for men - the constancy of natural hair treatments that work
If you want long, thick and beautiful hair is kept away from commercial hair products! They contain chemicals that are toxic to say the least, and over time will cause your hair to fall out, give you an itchy on the scalp, dandruff and make hair to thin!
Need all natural shampoos and conditioners to grow long hair, they will have a time to get used to them, but will minimize hair loss and give you thicker and more manageable hair. A chemical-free shampoo is made for a good drink a cup of baking soda mixed with a cup of water diluted with 4 tablespoons of apple cider. Make a paste and rub your hair and scalp as you would with a regular shampoo. It may take time for your hair to suit this shampoo for the hair may appear to be "dirty" as the body again won their natural levels tallow.
Do not use styling products that are chemical products and also want to avoid the heat on the scalp, bathroom with hot water is a resounding no time to grow hair naturally, and that will open the pores of the scalp and allow your hair to fall faster. So the use of hot water Lucas to wash the hair and scalp ...
Be sure to supplement your diet with vitamin B12, which is great for preventing hair loss and promotes also nail growth. Taking vitamin A also keep hair strong and healthy so that they grow faster and longer.
A good oil to use on your hair to prevent hair thinning and loss is Lavender oil, which has been shown in many studies hair loss to increase hair growth rate. So be sure to use lavender oil and massage oil once a week. A better remedy would be to use good hair oil, apply to your scalp twice a week and you never have problems when it comes to your hair and scalp.
Use good hair oil as hair oil Mira is a good treatment herbal hair grow hair faster and stop any hair loss
As a man who must be sure to always use prevent damage to your hair, use it twice a week and always have healthy hair, a bottle last two months. Again, be sure to use gels Hair and commercial products in moderation, the lower the better, since they contain chemicals that strip the hair of sebum that can cause hair loss.
What is the best shampoo for a natural blonde with natural Highlite? Anyone have any idea?
I am a natural blonde, and have natural Highlite multiple colors. I wonder if anyone knows of any innexpensive shampoos and conditioners that bring out my Highlite and keep the hair very soft and brilliant. Any ideas? I tried both soft 'Blonde' shampoo, and a little shampoo Pantene Blonde '. They are good, there is something much better? Please give me ideas. Thanks! <3
in fact, almost all shampoos are the same. even if it says "silk blondes!" does nothing different. just buy regular shampoo

ReviewsFunny smell, but good for my scalp... by Short Legs from Boston, MA on 2010-08-18 I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I have to agree that it's a pretty good shampoo, not 5 stars, but close. I have normal hair that's not treated with anything. A few weeks back, my hairdresser noticed how dry my hair was. Besides the dryness, I had also developed a bald patch on my head (alopecia areata). Since my shampoo plus conditioner (popular retail brand) hasn't seem to help the dryness nor the baldness, I decided to switch from a shampoo with SLS to one without. (I bought this more for the rosemary and lavender oils, to help with balding)My hair feels drier coming out of the shower, but once I dry it out, it doesn't end up that way. I highly recommend using it with the conditioner, which is great! I will say that my hair is healthier, and my scalp is in better condition than before. Before, if I skipped a day without washing my hair, I would end up with a really greasy feeling scalp. I think my scalp was just too dried out along with my hair, and my body just produced more oil to compensate. A few days after using it, my husband asked me if I did something different with my hair, as it wasn't as frizzy as before! Oh, don't worry about the smell; it's only in the shower, and once you rinse, it's gone. It doesn't stay in your hair.My husband also likes it, and it has replaced his dandruff shampoo (H&S), especially since I told him SLS has been shown to potentially affect hormones and may make male pattern baldness worse. That got his attention!!
Good Product but... by The Cool Relax from on 2010-07-15 Nice product not much complaint besides when I first used it my hair was a bit tangled and a little dry. Yet when I used the shampoo two weeks after my first usage, I did an overnight prepoo that helped the shampoo and detangling process feel much better.
Superb natural shampoo by mnms_nc from on 2010-07-13 Jason organic biotin shampoo really works wonders for fine hair . Hair is stronger, healthier and smells nice .
Great for everyday use !!!
Worked really well! by Renae W. from Florence, SC on 2010-05-07 I was curious about trying the shampoo after reading one reviewer that is African American like me and I was very surprised. The shampoo really works well for African American type of hair. It not only left my long coarse hair soft but manageable and it the smell lasted in my hair so long. The smell is not over perfumey like a lot of shampoos. I like the smell actually. I did not buy it from Amazon but from a Natural Alternative store. And yes I would buy it again and continue to use it.
Exceptional by Amanda B from Minnesota, US on 2010-03-02 I've been using this for a few weeks now. My hair feels stronger, looks healthier and seems to stay clean longer.

ReviewsNot working for me by Zero from on 2010-09-06 I'm one of those "stubborn" cases. While this seemed to be working for a while, it isn't really. I've been through half a bottle now with no significant improvements. Any improvements I saw during the initial use were likely attributed to the apple cider vinegar rinses I was doing at the time (and intend to go back to doing).Personally I thought this would have a very strong tea tree potency, or at least a lot of neem oil. But it doesn't. It smells like sulfur... AKA, poop, rotten eggs, etc. It smells disgusting and it's just not that great. I've been trying diligently and it's not doing a thing on it's own but make me, my shower, and my bath towels, STINK. I think the stuff might work if it didn't contain salicylic acid, but it does, and that has ALWAYS exacerbated my condition much more than help it. My SLS free tea tree shampoo, also by JASON, does just as much good as this stuff. This product though? Not any better than selsun blue. Sorry guys, just not the miracle shampoo for me that it is for all of you.
Shampoo really does work! by Matthew J. Mahoney from on 2010-08-22 Having had an itchy scalp and flakes for a year, I had tried everything to get rid of these problems. Brand name anti-dandruff shampoos never worked well for very long so I tried all natural "cures". But the apple cider vinegar just made my hair stink, the baking soda paste was messy, and the natural oils left my hair an oily mess. So at the end of my wits and literally scratching my head as to what would stop the itch, I tried Jason shampoo after reading all of the positive reviews. And to my surprise after 2 shampoos my head is no longer itchy. It leaves your scalp feeling refreshed and cool and smelling much better than anything else I have tried.
Great product, but the packaging... by Aayin from on 2010-08-22 This shampoo has already helped my husband's problem, and it's just a great product all in all. However, it leaked in the shipping box, about an ounce, so it was sticky out of the package. Also, you'd think an organic product seller wouldn't use styrofoam peanuts in their shipping.
IT works ! by J. Markovitz from Los Angeles, CA USA on 2010-08-09 I read all the reviews up here...seeing that most were positive and someone argued against a negative comment I tried it out. My head was itching so bad and I had lots of flakes. After one time I noticed a huge difference with my scalp. Seemed more balanced..not too oily not to dry.I noticed someone mentioned something about the smell...I use to use the T Gel by Neutrogena. If you compare smells...this one is a bit better. Jason's has a more natural smell. T Gel did do the trick but I learned that they are not turned off about testing on animals and I am!So on my first try I let it sit on my head for a good couple of minutes. You can feel it working and soothing all the itchy spots.I say..Buy it ; )Thanks
JDLX
It actually works! by MiamiChica from Miami, FL on 2010-04-08 I think I actually have scalp psorisis, so before this, I tried everything. The only product that seemed to work was Head and Shoulders "intense." But, since using Jason, my dandruff hasn't returned, my hair doesn't feel like straw, and my hair color doesn't fade away as quickly at all.The only bad side is that it stinks, but who cares, once you dry it or use a scented conditioner, it tends to cover up the mediciny smell.

Reviewsnot bad by Travis from on 2010-03-19 easy to apply and rinse off, it doesn't take much. I can't really tell if it is working for me...
It really thickens hair by hopeq from usa on 2006-12-23 I have long hair and it got dry and brittle and started breaking off in places. I purchased the Thin-to-Thick pack (shampoo, conditioner, scalp serum, and hairspray) and it really thickened my hair noticeably. The increased thickness made my hair less brittle so it was no longer breaking. The serum actually stimulated hair growth all over my head so the few thinnish patches in my hair will soon be filling in.
this stuff is useless by from on 2006-02-20 it made all my hair fall out and left me with scalp rashi am only 12 and my mummy yelled at me coz all my hair fell onto the carpet.
she then made me sweep it up and cos i have an attic room i fell down the stairs and broke my wrist and had to spend the night in hospitaland all the kids at my school hate me cos im balding at age 12 and have a broken wrist and scalp rash and i broke my right wrist so i cant write no more so i have to type with my left hand so this review is taking ages to write.
Good detangler by Rebecca Johnson from Washington State on 2002-06-17 Here is the conditioner to compliment the Thin-to-thick shampoo that really does work. ReviewsGood clean, some stripping by hdabara from on 2010-07-26 I love the conditioner, but the shampoo is not as moisturizing as its counterpart. Very good clean, but some stripping. Definitely a good investment for low poos/ no poo regimens though.
Didn't help my frizzy hair by Rebekah from California on 2010-04-19 My hair is wavy, frizzy, coarse, and dry. I thought this shampoo would help with those things. And while it didn't make my hair worse or dry out my hair, it didn't do much to help it. I was interested in a shampoo that claimed to reduce frizz, and if my hair wasn't so frizzy, I probably would have noticed more of a difference. It didn't lather at all for me. This probably was a good thing though because it means it is less harsh. I've used other natural shampoos that do lather but this one is different. I do like it though because the ingredients are all natural and it did clean my hair like shampoo is supposed to, but I wouldn't buy it again because there are many other things to try and this one could have been better.
Just not for me by Andrea Sauls from Alabama on 2010-04-12 I really wanted to like this line because it is all natural but this line is not for me. I have tried several of aubrey products and it doesn't work well with my hair and neither one of my daughters. We are african americans and maybe this product is not for us. It doesn't moisturize as well as I thought. I am not saying that this product is not for everyone it is just not for me and my family. I won't be trying anything else from Aubrey Organics. I have tried GPB, Poo and Condish, Honeysuckle Rose Poo and Condish, and now the Island Naturals Poo and Condish. None of which works well. I also tried the Blue Green Algae Mask and the Primrose Tangle-Go Hair Conditioner and Detangler, and the White Camellia and Jasmine Shine Conditioner Spray.
Not sure about this... by C. Moon from CA Bay Area on 2010-02-06 I have been using this shampoo for several months now and I will probably look for another when it runs out. I have found adding water into the bottle makes the shampoo easier to use. It was hard to work into my hair. The fact that it has to be shaken very time I use it means I can't put it in the dispenser on the wall. My hair does seem healthier and it's chemical free (I'm using the conditioner too). I do like the conditioner better than the shampoo. This is my first natural hair cleaner so it's competing with chemical shampoos I have grown up using. I would come back if I did not find another natural shampoo that worked better.
Give this product a try, you won't regret it by EMN from Atlanta, GA USA on 2010-01-09 I recently started using this shampoo, but have been using the conditioner for awhile.
I can't recommend this product enough. I believe in using organic products anywhere near my face and hair. Standard hair care products from the store are very drying and full of chemicals that would surprise you. We don't need all this exposure to chemicals, which include plastics. This is not benign stuff!
I switched to organic products but was not happy with several of the brands I tried. I found this product and I loved it from the beginning. This will help the health of your hair. It will not dry your hair out. I highly recommend it with the matching conditioner, which is superb. Leave the conditioner in for a few minutes in the shower and it really helps detangle.
My hair is less dry and less frizzy. Even the person who cuts my hair noticed that my hair looked like it was in better condition than before.
It certainly won't "fix" your hair, but I would say it is the best duo I have probably ever found for dry, frizzy hair.

ReviewsOnly thing that got thick is the SELLERS WALLET! by futureace from on 2010-08-27 This shampoo is just overpriced detergent with a terrible stink. After reading some of the positive reviews here I took a chance and bought this stuff. I have been using it daily for over two weeks now and it stinks, performance wise and literally. I am a man with a full head of hair that is somewhat fine, and I see and feel absolutely no difference after using this shampoo. It doesn't look thicker. It doesn't feel thicker. It doesn't style better. It performs no better than a $0.99 bottle of VO5 or Suave shampoo. It actuallly is worse, because unlike those shampoos, this one has a horrible smell to it. My advice, don't waste your money on this overpriced junk. You're better off just going to your local dollar store and buying any shampoo.I've bought dozens of products through Amazon over the last few years and this is the first one that I hate and makes me feel like I've been ripped off.
Decent Shampoo, a little too much protein for me though by The Cool Relax from on 2010-07-15 I've had thin hair most of my life and have a strong desire in having thick hair, I'll say it does the job.
I love the foam and how soothing it feels on the scalp and rest of my hair. Plus I do not follow after the first poo since all the product, oils, and dirt is washed out in its first application. My only knock on the product it is has a lot of protein in the first lines of the ingredients, which probably is why I had a hard time running my fingers through it and it locked on me while pooing. That's why the product only got 3 stars, now if you are not protein-sensitive go for it.
Good Stuff!!! by Angela Stark from OR on 2010-06-20 I have very, very thin and thining hair. I like this shampoo a lot. I have been using it for about a month and for the most part its good. Some days my hair looks really full but on humid days my hair still falls flat. I do really like it a lot though.
Really works. Hair was thicker on first shampoo. by Shopping from Pacific N.W. on 2010-04-24 All I can say is 'wowy', wow, wow, wow. Love this stuff. My hair has been driving me crazy lately and as we get older, it starts to thin out. I wanted an all-natural shampoo and came across this one on Amazon. I liked the reviews (thank goodness for reviews), then went for it. Okay, I do have to admit, the smell is a bit off and the shampoo doesn't lather, but that is the price I will take for nice hair and this stuff does the job. I will only use this stuff from now on and I did follow up with a nice smelling 'Jason' conditioner. 100% Great!
Oh Jason shampoo.... how I love thee! by Bianca from Bellingham, WA on 2010-04-24 My favorite wish is for Jason to make a bigger, less expensive bottle. This is my favorite shampoo but I rarely buy it because of the cost. If you have fine, wispy hair this will do wonders for the texture and feel of your hair! It smells great and, as an added bonus, does great things for your scalp too! Simply adore it. Wether it actually THICKENS your hair... I don't know about that, BUT my superfine hair certainly FEELS more lush and lustrous after using this shampoo and conditioner... I just wish I could afford to use it exclusively, but for me this will have to remain a special occasion shampoo. :(Note: This stuff is THICK. I mean it. Almost like honey.

ReviewsHealthy ingredients compared to many shampoos, but by Lori Eilerts from on 2010-08-13 The ingredients are a good healthy alternative compared to most shampoo, no toxic chemicles which is nice, but as a hairstylist, I didn't find I liked the feel of it's cleanse and low lather, and the feel of my hair after rinsing. It may be better on fine limp hair, but if you have dry or color treated/highlighted hair you will need more conditioning.
best Ive found by K. C. N from on 2010-07-11 excellent non toxic miracle shampoo...
even in hard water! smells heavenly-
I know sounds too good to be true...try it you won't be sorry.
Just doesn't work for my hair! by StayAtHomeMom from on 2010-07-05 Loved it at first but after so many uses it left my hair feeling waxy and dull...horrible residue!! On top of that you need a lot of it to get a little lather. I was really hoping I could stick with it. Loved the scent.
absolutely love this shampoo by asianprincess from on 2009-11-28 i recently switched from using the mainstream lines of shampoos and conditioners (TIGI, Biolage, Sexy Hair) to natural shampoos without all the chemicals and synthetics like sulfates (which is a skin irritant) and parabens (which have been linked to cancer). i was a bit skeptical about whether i'd find hair care products that i liked, but was very pleasantly surprised by this shampoo. i loved the smell (which is all natural plant and fruit oils) and my hair felt clean and soft afterwards (i also used the vanilla & sweet orange conditioner). i highly recommend this product not only because my hair felt and looked great after using it, but also because it's paraben-free, sulfate-free, cruelty-free and all natural.
gentle, organic shampoo - great for kids by TX trio mom from The Woodlands, TX United States on 2009-06-19 This shampoo is truly all natural, great smelling, and gentle. I love that it is all natural ingredients, and I am not covering my kids in chemicals. Works great and leaves my kids hair shiny and soft. I but this shampoo and conditioner over and over.

ReviewsSulfate Free !!! by D. Bradley from Montgomery, AL on 2009-08-29 I use this shampoo on my color treated hair and I do not have much wash on my color during the month. I have itchy scalp, but it is not dandruff, but is a condition caused by the sulfate that is put in shampoo. I think if people started looking at what kinds of chemicals are put it shampoo and conditioners they would look to use more natural products.

ReviewsSigh by Zero from on 2010-08-16 I want to give this product a 5-star review, because so many people seem to like it, but as far as tea tree shampoos go, this one fails to provide what I wanted. I really like one that provides a good tingle as another reviewer said... and it just falls extremely short on that. If I can't even feel a little tingle, there's no WAY it's helping my dandruff. That's what I got it for- years ago when I was a kid, my mother bought a very strong tea tree shampoo. JUST tea tree. Now it seems no matter where I look I just can't find a shampoo with that same potency. It's extremely disappointing, especially when you're paying $10 a bottle.Another Jason product, the dandruff relief one, is helping somewhat, but it also only has slightly more potency when it comes to tea tree and so... the search goes on.Sigh.
The first shampoo that really worked for me by S. Mance from Michigan on 2010-07-28 I just picked up my first bottle of this shampoo in the store, and couldn't wait to buy more on Amazon. I had a healthy scalp for my whole life, but developed a dry and flaky scalp after having some health issues the past 2 years, don't know if the 2 are related. I tried everything, all of the over the counter dandruff shampoos. Nothing worked. This shampoo was going to be the last thing I tried before looking into a prescription, and after only one shampooing I could see the difference! Another thing is that even though my scalp was dry, I had baby fine straight oily hair. All the dandruff shampoos left it greasy and limp. This shampoo leaves my hair shiny and full of volume. I don't know how it would work for those of you with curly hair, but it is the best shampoo for me!
As a side note, reading one of the reviews someone mentioned that it could deter head lice. I work with young children and have avoided catching lice so far. Does any know if this could actually prevent the spread of head lice? Thanks.
nice shampoo by D. Dub from on 2010-07-05 I bought this shampoo to help me with my dandruff since I heard that tea tree oil can help. Well I didn't see any difference after using this. Maybe this stuff isn't strong enough, I don't know. But this is pretty good for a normal shampoo. The price here on amazon is half of what they sell in the stores.I also like how few ingredients are in this shampoo. Before buying I read that some people didn't like the smell. I think it has a nice subtle smell too it. I'll probably buy it again. It doesn't lather too well the first time, but if you rinse and repeat, it will lather up well the second time.
Great for troubled scalp by Heather Arnold from on 2009-10-20 I have tried multiple shampoos for seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. Most of them smelled terrible, cost a fortune and did terrible things to my hair. This shampoo has been the best thing for my scalp I have tried in 20 years of struggling with scalp problems. It smells great, lathers and cleans well, and is very cost effective. My hair dresser has even commented on how healthy my scalp is. I love that it is an organic shampoo without all the harsh chemicals most seborrhea shampoos have. I have recommended it to several people wiht and without scalp issues and everyone loves the clean feeling and great smell.
Scalp problem products by M. Goodman from on 2009-10-06 I was disappointed with this product as it has not really helped my itchy (non-dandruff), dry scalp from sensitive skin, being diabetic and over-coloring. I have not found this to be any sort of real scalp therapy that works. It is a nice light shampoo, smells pretty good even though there is tea tree oil in it, but it does not work as advertised. I am now using homeopathic remedies on my itchy, dry scalp such as applying this: Simmer 12 tbsp. plain, old fashioned oatmeal in 6 cups boiling water for an hour. Strain oatmeal, reserving the cooking water to which you then add 5 drops rosemary and 5 drops lavender oil. I have also substituted warm virgin olive oil for those two oils, and mixed 1/2 C. of the reserved oatmeal water with 6 Tbs. apple cider vinegar. Allow mixture to cool before applying to scalp. Leave in hair at least 10 minutes before washing out. You can use this once a week to relieve dry scalp.

FeaturesReviewsOne of the best by Aktempest from Anchorage, Alaska United States on 2010-08-19 I'm a female and natural redhead with very fine long hair..plus my age (late 40s) has brought thinning hair. I've tried many products for thinning hair and/or those advertising adding more body. This is the best shampoo I've found..I'm thrilled it builds body in my hair so well. I also use a very mild conditioner from avon which is not for body. My hair is soft and full..it feels and looks so good. We all know what works for one person might not work for another, but this is worth a try.
Excellent Shampoo by Jim Murphy from on 2010-07-11 This shampoo is loaded with Biotin which strengthens your hair. It also helps your hair to grow thicker as well. I encourage others to read about Biotin & start using it.
fine as a mild shampoo but does not thicken hair by JGC from on 2010-06-21 There is no such thing as a shampoo that will make your hair grow nor will any add natural thickness to your hair. These claims are totally unwarranted and without merit. Incidentally the back of the bottle states that this will: maintain a healthy scalp, nourish follicles, help restore thinning hair, strengthen hair strands and boost body and volume. I use this shampoo because it is very mild and has a nice fragrance (lemon). It is certified organic by Quality Assurance International and by BioAgriCert (a company in Italy). I wish Avalon (the brand that manufactures this) would have taken a little bit more care in the packaging, it's just a bottle with a lid that anyone can open up (there isn't any safety seal around the top and the lid can come completely off unlike other big-name brands). Biotin is not the main ingredient in this (it is the 9th listed), some of the other ingredients include: organic aloe barbadensis leaf juice (2nd ingredient), soy protein, citric acid, potassium sorbate and organic rosemary officinalis. This is not 14 ounces though. I thought the bottle looked a little small (compared to my Pantene which is only 12.6) and found it to be barely 12 ounces. When I contacted Amazon they quickly issues me a partial refund for the mistake. Even with the rebate they offered me this is still a little pricey. But if you want a light shampoo without a lot of harsh chemicals then you may want to try this.
About biotin by M. Kang from Albany, CA on 2010-06-18 I haven't bought this shampoo yet, but while all the raves about this shampoo almost made me buy this one, I somehow got suspicious about the good reviews (thought too good to be true). So I did some search about biotin and here's what wikipedia entry of biotin says:"Biotin is often recommended for strengthening hair and nails. Consequently, it is found in many cosmetics and health products for the hair and skin, though it cannot be absorbed through the hair or skin itself.Biotin deficiency is rare, as, in general, intestinal bacteria produce an excess of the body's recommended daily requirement. For that reason, statutory agencies in many countries, for example the USA and Australia, do not prescribe a recommended daily intake of biotin."If this is true, it's very likely that biotin contained in shampoos, conditioners (not just this one) won't do much for hair growth, thickening.
