I have had acne on my back for so many years and it looked horible. I've been using this bottle for only about a month now and the acne on my back has almost been gone! The reason why I gave it 4 stars was because it can't be used upside down and that it smells a bit.

I live in a very hot/humid climate and go to the gym regularly, and without treatment, my upper back will really break out. Hormones don't help either, I suppose. I also use a salicylic body wash (Neutrogena) in the shower being sure that it's the last thing I use (after I rinse my conditioner fully), then after I towel off, I spray this in the affected area and just let it dry. I'm glad to say that my back is perfectly clear. I've been using this stuff for years - also used to use Avon's Mark Bacne Spray before it was discontinued - but this is a great substitute. Will keep buying it as long as they keep making it!

I was extremely disappointed when Avon stopped selling their Bacne spray. That stuff seemed to work miracles! But since they did stop selling it, I had to try to find something that worked just as well. I didn't want to shell out major money for something if there was a cheaper alternative so I decided to try this. It has a slight smell to it and gets a little sticky, but that doesn't bother me since I put it on before going to bed and shower the smell off in the morning. So far, I can't see that it has made any major difference, but I'm still trying it out. I hope to see a difference before summer really sets in and I want to wear tank tops.

This product is working well at maintaining my back acne free. Please note that if you currently have body acne you must first treat the ones you allreday have with Benzoil peroxide ( zapzit works great!!) and wash your back and or body with a salicilic acid soap (I used Neutrogena) Use the body spray twice daily along with these other two items and you ll have guaranteed results. After you have cleared up continue to use the spray to prevent breakouts. I suggest to let the spray air dry before puttin on clothes.CONs;I did not rate it as a 4 beacause of the following: Spray cap does not really spray upside down. Bottle is too hard to self handle for back acne Botle shuld be biiger ( 8 onz or more ) Keeps running out every week!Nevertheless I recomend this product . Good price and good results.

This body wash does a good job. After using it religiously, it cleared up my back after about a month (I had quite a bad breakout). My only criticism is that it is a bit expensive, but the tube does last several months with daily use.

This product works better than anything I've tried. It clears up my back, doesn't dry out my skin, and smells nice. There are no oils in this product, so it isn't counter productive if you are sensitive like me.

just got this product a few days agfo and some thoughts.... I love the smell of this. Very fresh and clean.... The exfoliation seems to work well, although could be a little tougher for body. I've used this for about a year and it's worked really well. My skin does tend to get a little dry, pretty much with anything I use, so I use a moisturizer when I'm finished washing (BWC Oil-free). They stopped selling it locally and my skin looked like crap until I found a place to buy it online.

I really didn't think there could be much of a difference between face washes, but this one definitely didn't mesh with my (fairly normal, I thought) skin. It dried out my eye area so badly that it's actually bright red and rough, and somehow managed to increase my usual frequency of blemishes.I'm sure this stuff could work wonders for someone, but I definitely wasn't that person.

This product did not dry out my skin as much as most acne products do. It didn't take away all my acne but it did seem to dry out some of my spots. I'll continue using it to see if maybe the longer you use it, the more it will clear up.

I wouldn't say that I have a real acne problem, just the occasional zits. This product did do a pretty good job of clearing up my complexion. However, every time I used it my face felt uncomfortably tight, and I was turned off by the medicinal smell. I don't know if I'd use it on a regular basis, more so probably for spot treatment.

I have been a loyal used of this body wash since I first tried it about 8-9 years ago as a teenager. I tried all of the anti-acne body washes and never made it through a whole bottle. They either smelled horrible or made my skin feel dry. This is perfect and I hope they never stop making it. It smells lovely (I get compliments all the time and I never wear perfume!) but the scent is light and not too feminine (my boyfriend also uses this). It leaves my skin feeling SO soft and clean! I rarely get breakouts on my body, though they come back if I run out and use something else. My only real complaint is that I have to buy it online because it is not available in stores near me. Also, a bottle lasts a long time (about 6-8 months when used daily) because a little goes a long way. I bought this three pack about two years ago and only now do I need to buy more. Love it!

I have previously purchased Neutrogena's Body Clear body wash to help with my husband's body acne. He used it a couple of days and ended up with a rash. He's never had trouble with sensitive skin, so it must be really harsh. He's used the Phisoderm for about a week and so far, no rash. His back appears to be clearing up. We will know more later.I orginally purchased this for my son-because he was starting to get body acne. It seems to be working for him too. He is washing his face with it too, and it was working pretty well, but now he seems to be getting more acne, so I'm going to have him stop to see if things clear up.Either way, both of them have cleaned up the acne on their bodies and that is what this is meant for. So, I will most likely purchase more here at Amazon because no one locally sells it (purchased it at a drug store in another town when visiting my mother).

Phisoderm for scalp sores

The phisoderm body wash is a great product. It is the only thing vie found that keeps my scalp free of sores. It was recommended by my dr and he was right. I always had trouble with scalp sores for years till I discovered phisoderm. This is a great mild acne soap. I recommend using with a 5% - 10% benzoyl peroxide cream for modereate - severe acne sufferers. I really love this soap, but everytime I order 1 of the 3 soaps always leaks (all 4 times ive order this). Do not order with items that can be damaged by this leak - its just a hassle. Great soap though.

I haven't used many products created by Murad, but this is definitely one I would recommend. I started getting really bad bacne from stress and exhaustion--something I had not experienced since high school. I read reviews about Murad Clarifying Body Spray online and decided to go ahead and try it.I was completely amazed with the results. Within a week of using this product, I could see a difference. Of course, it isn't a magical solution, but after a week of using it consistently, I was not getting new breakouts on my back and the existing bacne was starting to calm down. I used it consistently and daily for roughly two months, and my back cleared up completely.If you follow the directions to a T, it WILL work. You must wash the affected body parts before spraying and use according to the directions on the bottle. If you don't wash the affected body parts prior to spraying, I doubt it will work as well because there is still oil and dirt sitting on the affected areas. It will only sting for a short while if you have been picking at the bacne and you have "open wounds" on your back. I did not find that the product smelled bad; it smelled slightly medicated and mentholated and tingled.For the people who say that their bacne came back after they stopped using it, I would have to say this was not the case for me. I have since stopped using this product and my back is still completely clear. However, I may attribute the effectiveness of this product to the fact that I continued to use it after my back had cleared up for preventative measures.

i've always had oily skin and the only time my back would clear up is when i went tanning...i don't want to keep hurting my skin so i needed to find an alternative. This is the only thing that actually did clear it up, i've been using it a few weeks and its not totally gone (it was mild to begin with) but it's getting there!

Just got this and a few comments... The sprayer seems to work good. The smell is very medicinal... It feels metholated.. Doesn't burn but feels very tingly on the skin... i have noticed some improvement in my skin and haves been using for just a few days... I bought this product because I have body acne on my shoulders, chest, and back. I am relatively active, working out several times a week and walking to/from school about 1/2 a mile each way. I have found that this product works about the same as a regular body wash, such as Axe or Dial, without giving any special acne-fighting advantage. What I finally did find to help out with some of my body acne is a face wash that was much stronger than most normal acne washes. This could be just me, but I found that this product was not better than any typical, regular body wash.

For $5, this thing will prevent an acne from becoming a zit if you apply it early enough (when you start feeling it on your face). I've used this thing in the past on myself, I also bought it for my sister and she also said it worked real well.The only problem is Mary Kay is not a well-known brand and is not well-advertised. So these items won't sell fast enough and a lot of time, these tube will come expired (I've bought it twice from 2 different sellers in the past year, and they all came expired). Just ask for a refund if you run into such problem.

I had a friend get Proactive and she gave it to me. I used it but the acne never actually stopped. It just kinda covered it up but I still got breakouts frequently. So another friend (who sells Mary Kay) gave me this to try and I have been using it for now for about 3 months and I have noticed a great difference! My breakouts have slowed down alot and even when I have them they don't look all red and angery. If you have used everything you can think of and still nothing works then try this! It's worth it!!!

I've been using this stuff for years ever since my best friend's mother mentioned that my face was so broken out. During my teen years, I had a lot of acne and I felt really embarrassed because of it. So my friend's mother gave me a free tube of this gel :D My face started to clear up just a little bit by the next morning and within three days, I could hardly tell that I'd had acne. Forget ProActive... Mary Kay all the way!

May take a couple days for cystic acne, but dries small pimples up quicky (1-2 days). Love this stuff, have tried many other acne treatment products and this is my favorite! However I do recommend using a moisturizer afterwards if your skin starts feeling tight.

I'd been using Perricone's Skin Clear treatment until they discontinued it last spring and hadn't found anything equivalent, until now. This stuff is awesome. Pricey, but so good for my skin and has not only cleared it up, but brightened it up and made it a lot softer. I'm a convert and glad that I found this gem. I have 38 year old combination skin with hormonal breakouts and this stuff has cured that. Worked quickly. Noticed a difference within days.

I've been dealing for years with back acne...antibiotics, all the prescription creams and everything out there. Using this daily on just my back keeps it pretty clear. It is not spotless and I'm still prone every now and then but this has been such a wonderful product to really, really keep it under control.

So, I'm 22 and have had really bad chest and back acne since I was 16. I used to have acne on my face but that cleared up by the time I was 20 luckily...though the back and chest acne remained, sadly. I've tried a lot of different treatments for my chest and back acne:Benzoyl Peroxide 8.5% (in liquid form) Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash (Salicylic Acid) Bactrim (worked OKAY, but didn't clear acne away 100%) Tetracycline SolodynIt seems that for some reason, Benzoyl Peroxide in soap form works for me. Maybe it's the extra 1.5%? I'm pretty sure the key is letting the soap sit on your skin for the full 1 to 2 minutes that the instructions direct. (1 to 2 minutes feels like an eternity in the shower). This is pretty necessary because the skin your back is pretty thick. Also, I haven't been having the dry skin problems that other people haven't written about. I would recommend trying this product if you are out of luck like I was with other acne products.*note: since I started using panoxyl, I also stopped eating junk food like pizza, cheeseburgers, french fries, fried chicken and completely stopped eating at fast food restaurants- so my back and chest acne clearing up may be attributed to this. My dermatologist says that acne has nothing to do with what you eat - but he's also the one who prescribed all those other treatments that didn't work. So I'm not entirely sure.***EDIT*** Unfortunately, my acne has come even though I'm still using PanOxyl. Maybe it's in my diet because it varies, but it's back. Really there's too many variables to control for, so there's no way for me to truly know if PanOxyl really works. But I'm gonna keep using it.

I have been using this for about a week now. Im an 18 year old male and reading all of the stellar reviews I thought I would give it a try. Well... all the way from my ear to my chin is a series of red bumps that look like pimples ready to break the surface. The funny thing is that I didn't think that it was that harsh when I was washing my face with it. I used the same lotion that I always do, my skin never peeled or flaked. Bottom line, I have stopped using it, and its been 2 days and I am going back to clean and clear acne kit. It may have worked for others, but I would not recommend this product at all, my skin has never ever looked this bad.

Let me first start off by saying (like many others) that I have tried almost every single acne product out there, from Retin A to Proactive, to Salicylic acid, to Oxy pads to Clearasil and nothing has ever worked. My doctor told me the only thing that would ever "cure" acne is Acutane, which I did not want to use. I have used products containing benzoyl peroxide before, but have only used facial treatments containing up to 5%. When I came across the 10% bar and all the positive reviews that came with it I thought I'd give it a shot. Yes, it is drying. Yes, you do need to use a moisturizer. Yes, it is working!!! I use this bar in the morning and at night and although my face isn't totally clear, within the first week of using I have noticed a big difference. I hope it continues to make my face even more happier as time goes by!

This was probably the first acne soap I had consistently used for a few weeks and I was definitely seeing improvement in my skin! If you can stick to washing your face once a day with this you should see improvement too! It did dry my skin out a little so I would put on some Vitamin E cream after I washed my face.
