Zit Zapper and Face Wash Brush to the list of trends in skin care 2008

Skin Care is a continually advancing technology with new products being tested, developed and marketed. Some of these products as trends only begin to disappear, while some have staying power and find their path beauty routine for the coming years. Here is a list of some 2008 the skin of trends and products:

An Organic Standard
Now that organic beauty products can receive the USDA seal to indicate their degree of purity, look for a regulatory standard and seal for natural beauty products. Burt's Bees, which launched the initiative, has indicated that the Natural Standard Seal will require at least 95 percent natural ingredients and pure processing methods to make the mark. "We're starting in a higher percentage because most consumers believe that if a product stays it's natural, it must be so, but that just will not be the case, "said Mike Indursky, chief marketing officer of Burt's Bees.

Zap Away Spots
A new wave of beauty devices at home are about to join the Zeno zit zapper and Clarisonic face-washing brush. View products that offer many of the same mechanics of spa-grade devices such as Mini-Marvel, which use LED light to reduce wrinkles, age spots and acnes.

Tress Relief
While known to aide in the growth potential of the hair, scalp massage, are becoming full spa treatments for relaxation length. In Los Angeles, spas, body treatments such as Ole Henriksen, may also include conditioning hair. Asks Hendricksen, "Why should spa services stop your hair?"

New targets for Anti-Aging
Anti-aging does not stop at the face any longer. Spas are turning the focus on the neck, d'Collet, bust, and the body in general by popular demand. Spa and shelves stores are stocking creams, scrubs and more. Sylvie Hennessey, creator of Pevonia Botanica, which launched against Tropicale aging body treatments, recently said: "Clients want their bodies treated for wrinkling and sun damage as well."

Some Friends Family
More products touting firming and lifting of the properties that make their way to the shelves. And in them (see the label on the back) are the same proven ingredients, such as retinol, vitamin C and peptides people have been using to treat wrinkles and blemishes.

Bat Eye
More products will approach in the thickening and lengthening lashes, despite the FDA's crackdown on one manufacturer, Jan Marini, for claiming its products could grow eyelashes. Products include RevitaLash and osmotic Nutrilash FNS.

Correct instead of hiding
The new anthem for makeup is to correct the deficiencies instead of hiding. The leaders in this market are ceramides line of Elizabeth Arden. Other products include Kimiko firming eye shadow and Joey NY beauty within eye concealer, which includes anti-aging peptides. The essential mineral makeup has been popular for its lack of irritants and UV protection. "This concept goes a step beyond, "said Kimiko founder Danielle Vincent," Your skin is really better for having used it. "

A-Peeling Treatments
Spas are developing less aggressive forms of chemical peels which are lower in acids and higher in skin soothers like green tea. This progressive reduction of power provides new variants of skin at home. "It's great as long as the percentage of acid is low," said the New York City facial plastic surgeon Yael Halaas, MD. "Concentration too high or too frequent use may cause damage."

Bullion Bling
Spas and their customers are in love with gold as an ingredient in the face. Around U.S. $ 500 for an ounce of serum with gold is more bling than benefits. While down-right decadent, gold is still yet proved an effective anti-ager.

Anti-Age the Amazon Way
English and French lavender pink may have a competitor new in town. Product lines are being converted to the Amazon basin as its new spa-beauty of the garden. Native plants, fruits and nuts are rich in antioxidants and skin nourishing oils. For example, Amazon Beauty contains acai, and guarana fruit buriti. Inara Organic is based on the babassu nut. Even the leading brands like Kiehl's and Borba are using guanabana and yerba mate, because of their purity and efficacy, says Borba founder Scott Vincent Borba.
